Paying for publications

We heard that you can pay for an "interview" to be published at Euntrepren uer magazine and other mags like forbe s etc,....

IS this true?

Also, I have been getting tons of emails selling me backlinks but what is this? If I pay these guys is it a mention about the company? A backlink in a post?

How does it all work we would like to offer this to our clients.

Every magazine is buisness, they must get money from something - ads or publications. Sponsored articles are very common practise. They can put your link but I think it not will be cheap. Sometimes it is better to buy more backlinks from local online magazines that one from the biggest one. It depends it you want to build a mark or get serp results

Our clients want to build a mark. Oh Well, someone can do this for us I am sure. Ill keep hunting. Our guy that did this quit.
