Am I over paying here?

Since i'm running Facebook Ads from a friends business manager in a different location this is my currently using an exclusive residential IP based by city.

Anyone else running different set ups without compromising safety?

Facebook doesnt care about your proxies! or IP
But if it makes you feel safer, go for it.
There are cheaper providers out there,
@proxygo will for sure know more than me...

Yes, you certainly are!

I'm not sure whether one can talk about their own services here, but there are a lot of other services that would charge way less than $35/GB.

Man seriously, why is everyone using Multi login + Proxy though?

The friends bm who i'm using is also living in Bangkok Thailand, is it easy enough to get exclusive IP's in this location?

As I said, if proxies make you feel safer go for it.
Facebook main concern is Trust, not which IP you log in from.
Just my two cents!
Thanks for your input, i will definitely consider this!

I can't say for sure. SE asian market is less popular compared to the West. However, I don't think you would need exclusive static residential IPs for your case.
You may also try rotating backconnect proxies where new IPs are assigned with each request, or have sticky sessions for short durations.
How many monthly requests you make and what is your required bandwidth?

Okay got it. I'm not too sure what my require bandwith is tbh as I don't have enough data on that yet. So far i've used 1gb for the last 2 days creating ads etc.

I was just under the impression that I needed
1. Exclusive IP so that the IP has no bad history with FB
2. Residential Proxy in the same city as my friend so that it seems realistic that he is logging in from only 3 particular IP's all within Bangkok.

Cheers

That's about 20 GBs worth of monthly traffic. You may try the premium rotating proxies option as well. Should cost ~$10-15 per GB.

Is this through Luminati? I've got to use this credit first and then I would consider another option.

The cheaper option through Luminati ($17.50/gb) is if I don't specify by city (Bangkok) and just target by Country (Thailand). Would you say this is still a safe option?

This pricing is from Oxylabs. Not city-specific.
If you have your reservations wrt safety, I suggest you try with another BM account. Bit of a hassle, but you would save considerably in a safe and steady manner.

Okay thanks. What sort of different BM are you suggesting? And do you mean saving by selecting a cheaper proxy rate?

I'm using them currently, I had exclusive static residential, city level targeting - which costs about $30/gb (on $500/month plan) & i've spoken with the account manager to lower costs by 50%. He recommends country level targeting (only $12.5/gb) what I've done is change to country, let the profile sit on the new IP for a few days (3-5) don't even open the BM, just be active on the profile & then open BM, let it sit for 1-2 days and then start slowly running ads. Worked for me

Let your account manager know you found a better deal elsewhere and you're gonna leave, they will either match it or offer you the best deal they can to keep you

I suggest to you mobile rotating proxy. Because thats cheaper than residental proxy.

Facebook cares greatly about your IP. This is one of the best ways to pinpoint you, because of the fingerprint. If Luminati works, then use them, because Facebook is difficult.

4g should be way better and even not that expensive
