payday update and domain question

I have a kw 4.5k search volume and specific to local listings.
I am very knowledgable to the niche and i probably knows the most about the topic.
I never thought of building a site for this niche and when i now thinking about it i realized i bought a emd for this long time ago. So i just checked and it was purchased 2014/01.

So will i be affected by payday update?
The domain was purchased but never had contents.

How exactly the payday algo works?
Is it just for newly created domains?
Will expired domains be safe from this updates?
Or is it for any newly created pages??

The Payday update targets spammy queries and link schemes. Sites ranking in the porn and payday niches along with other spammy niches are more likely to be affected by the payday update. It doesn't matter whether your site is new or old.

There is no reason at all to be worried about this update. Just focus on quality and you'll be rewarded.
