Payday loans + Matt Cutts

I'm going to blog about the post-payday loans results but i'm honestly lost for words. Googles continual push for better results through penalizing astounds me. They keep on penalizing sites and this only removes sites from the SERPs which were extremely well built for conversion and giving users what they want, instead to be replaced by more spam which extremely low quality.

I keep on saying it, but the blackhat spammers are the webmasters which are very good at creating high converting websites with good quality content.

Maybe google doesn't want better results. They want crappy sites so that people will click back, and maybe click on their ad instead. I see crappy sites rise to the top after every update.

Payday loans from Mr. Cutts is showing up #3 for me in google.co.uk lol

But surely then if this continues to happen to someone they will change search engine?

This is great viewing. The algo has been bouncing around on that keyword all day.

There's currently two churches ranking in the top ten.

No1 at the moment is uncle loans. I believe we have an uncle buck on here who competes for that term. Might be his lucky day.

A lot of regular searchers might not even know they clicked on an ad. I'm picturing my parents or older relatives using the search engines right now. So they do get what they initially searched for, just not through the organic listing.

Also, it would take them a loooooong time before they hop on to a new search engine, and the reason probably wouldn't be for bad search results. It would be when something more "popular" comes along (read about the "herd mentality" of the masses). Regular users don't behave the same as us internet marketers. I still hear my friends complain about how they can't find what they're looking for, but it never occurred to them that there are other search engines besides google.

Google could be the worst search engine in the world, but as long as people still use phrases like "google it", others will follow the trend without thinking twice. "Researchers discovered that it takes a minority of just five per cent to influence a crowd's direction - and that the other 95 per cent follow without realizing it."

Not stating a fact or a theory here though, Just a random thought lol

Barry Schwartz is so fucking useless.

All these guys posting about SEO on the google suck puppet sites are useless. They all do black hat and preach useless BS on their blogs.

CCarter checking in...

Looks like BHW is the place to be :D

Also look past that site at the other results -

1) http://www.the-uncleloans.co.uk/ - site doesn't load
2)
http://www.eocash.com/ - Redirect which doesn't load
3) Category on Guardian News paper site
4) The site that this thread is about.
5)
https://paydayuk.co.uk
6) News items
7)
www.isportconnect.com/ - A business networking site?
8) Wikipedia
9) revisionaidline.co.uk - A study and test revision site?

Getting rid of spam? Offering good user experience? Jeez... what a crock of shit....

Theres also a sporting blog on page one that has NOTHING to do with Payday loans. It doesnt even mention it. It has just been spammed with the anchor text payday loans! Unbelievable.

And also a revision Aid is on the first page too. I think someone is having a laugh today. Not many useful sites on the front page if your looking for a loan

wow domain authority 70/100
And lots of guest book links and blog comments that are auto approve.

Updates are not for providing good search experience for users. Its the tick used by google to make webmasters rely on google adds.
Legit companies spent a lot on there infrastructure and SEO when they don't make sales they will be wasting there infrastructure (salary + office space + VC's) so obsessively to prevent loss they will be forced to use adwords to run there business.
This is the good example of goole's monopoly.

Me of course!

Jokes aside, it's not that hard to find out..

Go to: http://www.thepcmanwebsite.com/google_page_cache_checker.shtml

Enter in the URL.

Check the author of the post.

I just thought that I would "doubleup" on your post haha ;)

Catt Mutts is a huge fail --- his clean-up team of seo experts is probably handpicked from DP. :D P.S.: This thread proves that he has no idea what his team is doing at office while he lives on youtube 24x7

I have no doubt your right, digital ad spend is going to continue to rise and Google is just solidifying their foundations for what they have planned for years to come. These algorithm updates only serve to increase their advertising revenue and slowly win customers over from the SEO companies they pay.

Just think about it, if you was Google. All these businesses paying for SEO are not putting money directly into G's pockets, they want to turn this on its head.

His job is to create a perception of quality for shareholders. The sites in top 10 for some high money kw doesn't matter as long as shareholders perceive them to be profitable for google.
