PayBox.me

I made a thread asking the same question the other day.
No one responded though. My account is now nearing $500
just by tweeting and fb status updates. Could be a good alternative
to paypal if they ever get off the ground and they pay us as promised.

i read the terms and its like that money is in their own currency its not usd you will be paid in it doesnt really make good sense to me that they could just come up and create their own currency as strong as the dollar

I didn't know that you asked all ready.I'm wondering if they really pay... I don't think they can afford though. The owner of the site is willing to pay 15$ to get 100 subscriptions to his site... Sounds too fishy if you ask me

well anybody getting paid from them yet?

Nobody is paid by them still now . and this is such a fake site . This site are mainly use email address and many information who are signing u there .
This site is a duplicate site . which is http://www.paybox.com

I tried it too, made a few twitter posts and now my account is up to around 300. Thats about all the promoting I'll do til I can actually get paid from it not just see it in my account.

I actually know the owner of this website, I think he is serious about this and I think it's going to be a big launch, but about the money, it might be that he is giving too much, hopefully he will be able to pay all.

my account was around 2k few months ago and ?
its in their own currency these are not us dollars ,they can convert about 1:100 for ex.

And about paybox.c_om this is more than scam ,just a copy of paybox me

Actually I was mistken, my friend was trying to get me to signup , under his ref name :(....

There is absolutely no point to the website. The "Free money" and money peole get every day for logging in, referring people and signing up is not real money.

This is a site with a major problem. It states on its home page under the tab of, "How it works," that, "Currency exchange with all major world currencies." However, this is NOT TRUE!!!

See point in the TOS entitled, "Account Balances," in which it states that, "All account balances are held in PayBox currency" and PAYBOX CURRENCY CANNOT BE EXCHANGED OR SPENT"

Further down in the TOS it states that, "PayBox.me does not warrant that the service will be...SECURE or ERROR FREE" There is no way to contact anyone who owns the site and there is so SSL encryption when entering personal information.

Additionally, these terms are not mentioned on the home page or on the sign up page. This is false advertising at its best (worst). Pure scam in my opinion. I suggest for anyone who wishes to sign up, read everything first and make sure you know exactly what you are getting into and do not, under any circumstances give them any money at all!

Bottom line?
Dont trust.

New site, no one has been paid yet, scam? that's the Risk!

If it is a scam or not, we will see when its open to public. I just hope those dollars will have some real value.

Would you really call it a scam if all they are doing is getting people to
promote the site so they make adsense money?
No one's losing.
I'd call it clever.

Don't know if anyone is still following this thread but paybox has now changed its name to virtapay, also thier blog is saying that you should be able to buy and sell products in the next 2 weeks. They will only let you sell products that can be digitally delivered though, like ebooks, website memberships etc

It's looks basically like an already been done concept by bitcoin.org, just a virtual currency. You hold no cash value unless you can trade it for something or get it to be used in online shops.

From their T&C page -

All account balances are held in VirtaPay virtual currency. VirtaPay maintains a virtual currency that is autonomous and independent of all nations and governments. The VirtaPay currency is denominated in dollars and cents (similar to the currency of the United States and over 20 other countries). The VirtaPay currency is currently in a closed system, and cannot be exchanged or spent outside of this system. Our plans include person-to-person transactions, integration with merchants and shopping cart systems, and much more. As is the case with any currency, once the VirtaPay currency comes into widespread use, its value as weighted against other world currencies can and will fluctuate due to market forces such as supply and demand, etc.

Always read the small print people.
