Pay Per Forum Signup. $1? $3?

Hey Guys,

I'm currently prepping a CPA offer that will pay $X per forum signup and thought I'd open a quick thread asking how much you (as affiliates) would expect this kind of offer to pay out.

It will be a conditional offer, i.e. all signups will need to do something to "prove" that they're indeed real, i.e. make a certain number of posts or something similar - making the average EPC slightly lower than your typical email submit offers.

All in all, how much would you (as an affiliate) expect to get paid for such an offer, given that the forum matches your target niche? $1? $3? $5?

P.S. Please do *NOT* PM me asking me how you can join. You can't. The thread isn't here to promote anything, and most likely we'll go through a reputable CPA firm instead of hiring affiliates directly.

Since it's an action requiring more work than a standard email submit, I'd expect about $1.50-$2.00. The posting limit would need to be low, like 15. That way your affiliates aren't sitting around forever waiting to get paid.

I actually did think about something like that for a sec, however the one major problem with this kind of setup is fraudulent leads. If there's a minimum posting requirement then this effectively means that we don't have to pay any attention to fraud, which makes the setup so much easier.

And yeah, the posting requirement will be low (something like 10-20) and the site itself will do a good job motivating members to post (direct calls to action, rewards, etc.), which should make it very attractive to affiliates.

If it's a forum that is active, where they can talk about just about anything, then $1.5-$2 would be appropriate.

If it's a super specific forum where they can only talk about Eskimo sunbathing then that number is way off.

Also, if you think my xrumer can't post, you're wrong. Not that I'm going to do that, but it will happen to you. You should really consider your 'not having to worry about fraud' stance, or you'll wind up with a board full of junk.

Thanks all who replied! Looks like my initial range ($1.5 - $4 depending on when payout triggers) was about right.

@MarketerMac: Cheers for pointing out xrumer. I'm indeed aware that automated posting is quite doable (and easy), but I don't see it as a big issue as the board is going to be heavily moderated for spam anyway and payouts will be generated only once every X days, based only on true post counts i.e. how many posts do members have left after spam is deleted. But yeah, having been in affiliate marketing for a while I'm definitely not naive enough to think that no-one will try and pull any funny stuff. It's just that performing basic fraud checks is a lot easier and cheaper than implementing a full fraud fighting system (which is an absolute must with email submit type leads).

Seriously, I think that a lot of Zip submit and Email submit are arounf 1,80-2,60 $
with maxbounty right now, A lot of dating offers pay up to 5-7 $ for a few info
like: age,name,email.

I think that it should pay as much as the nbr of actions they do on the forum regarding their activity....but once again, there are scammers that can bring people on your forum with their link and automate the actions of sending some messages to their referral and have them respond... it would not even require them proxies, maybe a sytem where you pay your affiliate a % of your earning that you make with their referral-client, a % of adsense, of the sales.
