Hi all.
I know I am bumping an old thread and my single post is probably not believable to many of you, but the positives in 2010 do not apply anymore.
I wanted to give a heads up to anyone considering using them payment provider. I also understand that when people have problems, that is when they leave bad reviews but this company is being dishonest with new customers and promising things they know they cannot deliver on.
Once you are set up and start working with it, it is difficult to resetup and start your business with a new provider so this is really a warning to anyone considering using them to pay people who work with/for you.
Yes, I know providers are limited in the adult industry, but these people should not be an option.
They will no longer verify bank accounts for electronic funds transfers.
The people you pay have only two options to receive funds, pay a $50 wire fee for each transaction or sign up for their annual fee credit card.
Their credit card does not work anymore.
Basically, the only way your people can receive their money is by paying a $50 wire transfer fee each time they want to withdraw.
When you are paying people thousands of dollars a $50 fee may not be significant and is a low percentage on a $1000 transfer, but if you are paying people in the hundreds of dollars, this is a large fee.
If you are an old business which has people already verified and things are working well for you, great. I am really happy it is working for you.
If you are a newer business and thinking of working with paxum, you really need to reconsider and look for other options including just doing direct bank transfers between your business account and payees.
I have dropped them personally. It has been a huge hassle but I cannot lose workers because they cannot be paid.
