I thought to give it a try again but now they have paused the program

Big blow for people who created sites for this as all effort waisted now. Any good alternative for this now ?

Although that might be true, why would you refer someone to an exchange which has only $6.8M volume in the last 24h?

You'd just send someone there, they make an account, do a few trades, and in one month or two they're out and going to a bigger and better exchange, making you lose the referral.
