Optimizing for AI Overviews (GEO). Sites that provide a concise 'Direct Answer' in the first 100 words are getting cited by Gemini/ChatGPT, which is driving a new kind of 'trust' traffic that traditional rank trackers don't even show.

Lately I’m seeing better movement from improving topical depth and internal linking rather than adding more content. Pages that clearly satisfy intent and keep users engaged seem to climb more consistently than those relying on volume or links alone.

What I am seeing is that if the content is helpful with real links, it works big time. Sites with better content even survive Google updates and stay ranked on Google
