Patrick's Journey To $4 A Day!

You've got this in no time -- the most important thing is to learn as much as you can about IM through your own experience working, persistence is key in IM and experience is money. Since you're young you could be self made by the time you're out of high school; I still wish I had done that.

I did it! My first sale on Fiverr! The buyer lived the pictures I sent them, I got my first customer, and hopefully more to come in the future. I think I get $4 out of the five. I also made about ~3 dollars of points in one hour on the forum posting site. The other thing I did yesterday was that I added some movies to the affiliate site I'm working on.

Good luck on your journey OP once you hit $4 make it $10 per day then keep scaling it up

Hey man, glad to see someone starting off so young. I wish I started off around that age; I'd be rich today if I had. Keep working hard and learning a little more every day, I'm sure you'll be rolling in the cash soon enough if you don't give up!

Thanks! Right now I am earning my money day by day, dollar by dollar... I think am getting closer to my goal every day, I just need to keep it up. :)

Congrats to you. 13 years old and determined to make money. That is awesome. Keep us posted on how you do:)

Not the best day today :( I got 2 bad reviews on the forum posting website, and am currently working on getting them corrected. I was able to get a link on Yahoo Answers for the site I'm working on. The other thing I did today was that I researched some CPA stuff, and applied for one.

really great of starting this work at the age of 13,keep it up buddy

Some good news today! I got accepted into a CPA network, but now I need to verify my identity/address. I think I have "a plan" to take care of that. I also got another order on Fiverr! It was where I would test out their website and write up a review, not too difficult. I also got a referral on the forum posting website, I kind of knew the person, and they will probably post a good amount. :)

I have a lot of work to get started, but I am almost to my goal. :) Getting closer day by day...

Made $6.70 this weekend! Sent in a real utility bill, and have to send in my passport to verify my CPA. I made a pretty good fake driver's license, sent it in, but my parents made me delete it... Is that fraud BTW?

I also arranged a deal to buy an iPod touch 2nd generation for $30. I should be able to get $40-$55 out of it, depending on how good I sell it on eBay.

Another big event: My first rated referral on the forum posting site! This person seems to be serious about it, and I get 20% of their points. :)

My goal for the summer is to get about $1000, enough for a decent starter end 3D printer. Luckily for me, my birthday is the 27th! :)

Nice, keep working buddy :)
Are you still posting on the forum posting site or you just referring people now?

And your birthday is 27 of June? If so, same here! haha.

Nice to hear from you :) I guess you had your final exams. I'm still posting, but I'm starting to bring in some referrals with my signature on two forums (I have around 3,000 posts combined on the two sites). I am posting for now until I get my CPA account verified, I need to find my old passport...

My birthday is May 27th, Memorial Day. It is also the first Monday of Summer for me! I get off next Wednesday, and my 8th grade "graduation" is on Friday. I look forward to some $ this summer. :)

I ended up buying the iPod! I'm going to buy a skin for it for a $1 from my friend, so that should help when I sell it. I have another person interested in my "$30 for an iPod deal". :)

Another big day!

I got verified for the CPA network! :) I sent in my information for 4 different offers, some were registrations, some were email submits, and one was a download.

Sadly however, I received a bad rating on the forum posting site because I disagreed with the forum owner on a thread... I should be able to pull up my rating soon on another site I just signed up for. I'm only .02 points below average, so I hope it's not an issue.

Pretty good work day today. :) I set up a free x10 website, and made some articles and logos for it. My friend and I coded a bot for a game, so I'm going to content lock it. The content locker application is still under review. I would appreciate it if you gave me a quick review (URL is www.robloxbot.x10.mx ) :) The niche is children ages 8-11 who play a game called ROBLOX.

Thank you :) I would waste my time all day on some MMORPG's and realized that wasn't really worth it.

My younger brother is actually making BANK by selling all his old stuff from these kind of games. He is doing better than me at the moment ha ha. Good luck on your journey!

I am going on 43 and I am a bit jealous of you. At your age, you have your finger on the pulse of all the new fads that the teenagers are getting into and that puts you at an advantage I think. If you use your head you could probably bank really hard.

I did not own a computer until 8 years ago and am still struggling to make any real decent money online. At your age, I picked my christmas gifts out of the sears catalog (shout out if you did that!).... So my high tech shit was an atari 2600.

A bit of advice for you if you don't mind. Careful about the cpa networks that you join. Some require your ss# before they will pay you and will send you a 1099 tax form at the end of the year if you earn $600 or more. They will let you join but without the proper documentation, you will never get paid. Some only require your tax info after you break the $600 mark. So keep that in mind so you can switch networks before you reach that mark.

If your dad is letting you use his paypal then I would strongly suggest that you try to get him to sign up for the networks and keep it all legit. That is if you think he would be cool with that. Your in the U.S. and fake accounts and documentation could all come crumbling down if not done correctly.

Just a bit of advice from an old fart.... Good luck to you and hope you make it big!

I'm only 14 and started at your age. Made some decent cash and kept my school/social life going. If you wanna Skype someone who started at 13 add me bhwresistance

I know some people who sell virtual items for real money, I have thought about doing it. I don't think I'm ready to sell off my goods yet though, they mean too much to me. :(

That's very good advice. :) I don't think the one I use right now requires a SS#, but I'm sure I could contact their customer support if there was a problem.

I have a question; what field of IMing did you start off with?
