Password reset on 10/15 Accounts

I got two of my accounts password reset. One was a 2+ year old account, and the other a 1 month old account. The new account was posting 1 photo a day, liking and following 10 per day with long 2000 second delays.

I think Instagram caught on to something on the Follow Liker bot. I throttled my other accounts to a crawl, just in case.

From what I've been reading here, there is no sense to the password resets, other than using FL. Some follow thousands, while others follow less than a hundred. Many here are getting the password reset message.

It's usually a 12 hour temporary ban not allowing FL to login. Thus, I'm almost sure it's got something to do with Follow Liker.

i got 4 emails, all received at the exact same time. i just updated FL to 901 yesterday.
the 4 accts are on 4 different ips, and same FL instance, liking only, no follow. the others (follow/unfollow) are fine.

it does appear suspicious when they are in the same FL instance, and right after FL update.

The issue is not caused by Follow Liker. The issue is directly from Instagram not recognizing the password. People who are not using any automation tool are having the same issue. The issue will blow away and if I have any suggestion I'll post here.
 
does this maybe have something to do with the accounts who had trouble with the description? I had some accounts (and so did other people) which had trouble of updating the description via the app of instagram and not via their website. also those accounts couldn't login a couple of weeks back or so...
 
It's got everything to do with Follow Liker. Otherwise, why would anyone be able to login via web browser, like, comment, follow, etc just fine. But, not be able to do the same under Follow Liker.

Instagram is setting a temporary ban on accounts accessed by Follow Liker, so in other words, Instagram can recognize Follow Liker bot or the "device" shown for login that Follow Liker uses to communicate with Instagram.

Either way, watch out as Instagram seems to have detected the Follow Liker bot. I don't see anyone using any of the other bots having login problems or getting password reset emails from Instagram.

If you're using Follow Liker, I would suggest that you contact Follow Liker and tell them the problem, and ask for an update to fix this issue.
 
I'm running Follow Liker 9.0.1, so maybe the older version is better at hiding from Instagram.

So I had over 100 accounts get password reset all at the same time. I have had a few at a time get reset over the past few months but not like this. Followliker keeps telling me it's my hasgtags, which is B.S. So I contacted them again last night and told them about my issue and they said I seem to be the only one having this issue so that now makes them liars too. I implore all of you having this problem to contact followliker and tell them to stop lying and to fix their software. We all paid for software that don't work now.

quick update, just booted up 2 of my accounts again after pw reset (and the annoying 404 FL error) and they work again... no new proxy.
 
FYI, After stopping all my FL accounts for 48 hours when I heard this news, then started them up, there were no problems for 3 days. Then I tweaked some settings on 1 of my projects, slightly increasing Follows/Likes/Comments by 25.

18 accounts with password reset within a few hours.

I have reset the password and purchased additional proxies for them. Tweaked all account settings back down. All accounts working normally -crossing fingers
 
same here, just got 6 acc need re-verification phone number. and i try keep booting and baam all 6 account have 3days temp ban.
There is 1 account that quite interesting , ig delete this account when i booting using massplanner, without any reset or warning.

also creating long last account now more harder, my account lifetime only 1 week
does anyone have suggestion to increase acc lifetime?
