How to make passive income? Everyone has asked this question at least once in their life. And if you add "online" word to the end of the question, everyone has asked this question probably at least twice in their life! 
Well, there's not a direct answer for that because the way of making money online is different for each person. Anyway, I want to give you a guide here which can help you to make a part-time or even full-time income online. This is not something that can make you rich overnight or I'm not going to give you a golden key to open treasure chests but that's something that worked well for me, made me my first serious online income and it's still my main source of income after years.
What you need to do to make it work for yourself too is thinking out of the box; for example, if I promote a CPA offer or an affiliate program in health niche in this guide, you don't need to do the exact same thing; you can go with other niche or even use that laser targeted traffic to build your email and monetize that list later. This is how you can get the most from this guide and it lets you stand out from the crowd always.
Ok, let's get started now.
Some while ago, a member requested me to create a guide for "how to get targeted paid traffic" and that's how this guide was born! ) When it comes to paid traffic, most affiliates think about Google, Facebook, Bing ads, or other famous social networks like TikTok, Instagram, etc. The truth is that those are only a part of paid traffic game and there are tons of other ad networks that can send you "laser targeted" traffic for much lower cost, then you can decide what to do with that traffic. Send it to your Amazon or Shopify store, YouTube channel, CPA offer, build an email list and monetize it later, etc.
This is all this guide is about. What I'm going to show you is one of the easiest and most straightforward technique that solo affiliates and media buyers use to create and manage $xxxx/day ad campaigns. The beauty of this marketing technique is that as soon as you get used to it and learn it properly, you just need to scale up with getting more traffic and creating more campaigns and it will be turn into a copy/past system for you.
For example, when you learn how to make a profitable campaign for a $1.40 offer, you will be able to do that with 10, 100 or 1000 other similar offers and the steps will be exactly the same.
Here is the simplest form I can explain it:

Step 1- Pick Your Winning Offer
The first thing you need to do is to find an offer, and you need to find an offer that is already converting well. To do that, you need to look at affiliate networks or sources that give you access to affiliate programs. Let's take http://www.cpagrip.com/as an example here. It's a good network to start your journey with. After sign up, you need to check two below factors in the offer list page:
Net Performance
Net Conversion
In this network, they are written as below. (The name can be a little different in other networks):
Net Prf shows that how other affiliates are promoting this offer. If it's high, it means that the offer has been promote successfully by other affiliates so that's a good sign which you can take advantage of.
For example, below offer has a payout of $1.37 with 98% Net Prf and 18.20% Net CR. This is a very good sign for a offer which shows that from every five affiliates, one is promoting this offer successfully, so this shows that this is a very good offer for promoting.
Let's check out some other offers with high CR rate:
Also, by click on Net CR column, you will be able to sort offers by their conversion rate on the network. You can do the same to find good offers in other networks.
This is not the only factor you should consider when it comes to choosing a winning CPA offer, however, that's a powerful sign you can look for while searching for valuable affiliate programs and offers. Keep in mind that and offer with a higher CR rate is better than an offer with higher payout. You can make more with an offer that converts better compared to a low converting but high paying offer.
Now, I'm going to pick one of these offers with an easy-to-convert action (like pin/email submit) then we go to the next section. With all being said, I decided to pick the following offer:
It's an easy-to-convert iOS offer with good payout $1.88 per conversion. It also targets US audience which typically has a higher CR rate for iOS offers. This means if you get only 100 conversion, you can make $188.00. You can buy targeted traffic for this offer under $50 (I'll explain in the next step), so you will be +$130 in profit.
When you picked your offer, simply click on "Copy Link" to get your affiliate link. Save it somewhere in your computer and go to the next step.
Step 2- Meet Your Paid Traffic Source!
As I've mentioned earlier, there are tons of ad networks that can send you highly targeted traffic. Not all of them have high quality traffic but I try to introduce you some good ones that I've personally worked with. For this guide, we are going to use https://rollerads.com/ which is a high quality push notification ad network, suitable for a wide range of affiliate offers.
The process of working with them is very simple: you provide them with your affiliate link, and they promote it using methods like push notifications or in-page push ads. If you are carious to know about push notifications, they are instant messages with announcements and sales offers delivered straight to people’s mobile phones or browsers. It's also called Push ads and they are highly clickable, provide great CTR (click-through rates), and deliver excellent results across almost all verticals.

So when you are promoting your affiliate link through this marketing channel, your link will be landed in the mobile screen of your target audience; and yes, it's the best place to show them your offer. Also RollerAds is one of the best ad network that can send you high converting push traffic.
So, simply sign up with RollerAds as an advertiser (you are going to buy traffic for your offer, so you are the advertiser):
After click on sign-up, select "advertiser" then "Individual," then fill in your first and last name, your details, and, if you don’t have a Skype ID, toggle to Telegram and enter your Telegram username. Complete everything, click "Send," and you should be able to claim your account. You will also need to verify your email, but it’s very easy so I skip it here.
Once you’ve created your account, your dashboard will look like this:
The first thing you want to do is top up your balance. Click on "Balance" to fund your account.
You can use various methods like card, Bitcoin, USDT, crypto, Payoneer, PayPal, etc. The payment limits are between $50 and $11,000, which is very flexible and if you are using USDT, the minimum is $50. When you've fund your account, it's time to create your campaign.

The format you want to use is "Push." Then, select "Smart CPC." Everything else is all set. For a more professional campaign, you should set up a postback URL to track conversions which required to choose an setup a tracker for yourself in advance but for this guide, I will show you the simpler way.
In "Traffic Presets", choose " US I Mobile I Sweepstakes " since we are giving out something for free, and you need to make sure mobile is selected. Traffic Presets is a nice feature of RollerAds which are the whitelists made by optimization team of the company in different categories to bring the best result for affiliates.
For the campaign name, put something simple and related to your offer + geo so you can recognize the offer fast when you run multi campaigns at the same time.

In the creative section, you have two options to choose from: Manual - Auto-generated
This is another great feature of Rollerads; if your offer is in Utility and Software niches, you can use Auto-generated option and the AI of Rollerads will take care of creating creatives for your offer. Since out offer is sweepstakes, I choose the "Manual" option here.

Simply use Google image and search for your offer name/niche to find a creative related to your offer. You need one Icon (192*192) and one Image (360*240) here. One you find something appealing, save it and upload them in Creatives section.
Now you just need to choose a title and description for your offer. You can get this info from your offer page; you can even use gpt to generate it. There's not any restrictions for using AI generated content for your campaign.
In Preview section, you can see how your campaign will look like in mobile devices. The next section is "Country". Simple choose "United States" here. It's the geo that you want to get traffic for. You can pick multiple geo(s) here but I recommend to pick only one each time because it'll be easier to optimize one-geo per campaign. Also, for the Proxy section, choose "Only Proxy" option to get high quality traffic to your offer.

Keep other settings as they are (default) and go to the "Budget" section. Here you can set a daily ad budget for your campaign, it can be from $5 minimum for your daily budget and $800 as your total budget.
In the frequency section, you can choose how man times you want your ad to be shown during 24 hours. Select 1 or 2 maximum here, so you won't spend your whole ad budget overnight.
In device section, remove Desktop and Tablet and keep only Mobile because we want to get traffic only from mobile devices.

Finally click on " I declare and guarantee that my campaign meets the Quality Guidelines" then click on "Start Campaign".

You’ll see a summary of the campaign details, and it will go live and your offer start getting traffic right after the campaign has been approved by RollerAds. This happens normally in less than 24h.
There are two other targeting options that we didn't use in previous step: Browser Settings & Language Setting.
We didn't use those options because we don't have any data yet. When we start getting data, we can analyze and optimize campaign based on that. For example, we can remove browser versions that didn't convert well for our offer. This happens mostly in old versions of browsers. Or we can check traffic from which zone id or ip performs well for the offer then create a whitelist from that zone ids and start promoting similar offers only to that whitelist. The whole of this process is called "optimization" and this is the main part of a campaign's creating process where you comes to play and use your skill as an Internet marketer to make a red campaign profitable.
There are times that you are lucky and your campaign goes green from the very beginning, however, even if that happens, you may want to scale it up to make it more profitable, so you need to go through the optimization process anyway.
It takes some time (+ trial and error) to learn the optimization process so that's not possible to explain every single aspect of that here and it's different for each campaign. Anyway, I try to make some other threads about it in the future.
That's it. This is how you can send high quality laser targeted traffic to your offers through paid ads without using any of major expensive sources like Google or Facebook. Keep in mind that you've chosen an offer with a high conversion rate, so if you can send the right type of traffic to that, you can expect solid results!
