Passion or Money or Both ?

Guys, I am lost.

I need to focus on one plan to be more effective and perform better. We know that when we do too many things, we lose focus. And I've been in this situation for years...
But now, I believe in myself, and I will make you believe in me with a journey thread that I will create soon. First, I have to decide.

On one side, there is my passion, which is music. My dream is to perform concerts all over the world, create my music, and be proficient enough to do what I want in music. On the other side, there's money, which I also dream about it. I see the numbers some people make, and I tell myself that I can't miss the opportunity to make the same numbers of cash. Just 500 a month will be awesome, extraordinary !!!
I want to change. Change my environment. And live the life I want.

Or I am thinking about doing both by creating a YouTube channel and a TikTok account about music. But I have this doubt inside me; I don't know if it will be successful...

Do you have any advice? What's your opinion, recommendations?
I want all your knowledge for my case, and be sure it will be effective! Please correct any mistakes for me.

To start, you should always have a way of generating guaranteed income that allows you to pay your bills, feed yourself and house yourself. It's such a vital part of anybody's journey who isn't fortunate enough to have a parental or spousal safety net. Without it, the chances of you becoming successful are less. You won't have much capital to play with when you're starting your venture. Not saying you need capital to start a business, but it helps.

In terms of choosing passion or money, I think that entirely depends on how much they both mean to you.

Making money is amazing, it's great, sure. But you cannot take it with you when you enevitably pass on.

Having a passion is equally satisfying. You can play your guitar until your heart is content and the entire process is one of pure bliss (I play guitar, so I'm talking from experience), but it's not going to get you paid unless you put yourself out there.

But I think you answered your own question. Creating social media around your musical talents is most likely the best option for you.

You'll have doubt regardless of what path you pursue, but instead of choosing money or passion, why not kill two birds with one stone and start posting your content.

Who knows what could happen.

Allright, i understand it i have my regular job that guaranteed me a normal source of income and some money on the side.
And we have the same instrument also, which is guitar !

But yeah you right, both of them, i am going in this way...
Yeah, that's what i thinking both of them.
 
Any of you have some tips for make some money with music ? Or about media ?

Just start uploading your songs to TikTok / YouTube Shorts. Maybe look into spotify and soundcloud too. I heard there are view bots for those two but I'd reccomend trying to organically reach people first.
 
I say money first, then passion later. Maybe the ones saying both were able to do it just fine, but there´s also the posibility that you end up hating music because you're not able to provide for yourself. In the end it's up to you, but I've seen plenty of people regret not making a more thoughtful decision in the end.

Money first, passion later
 
If you enjoy music, then only it is your passion. If you want it just for money or fame, it is hard to succeed in this.
