Currently, I've got a few quite high DA links on some related sites, but they're all linking to my homepage. Will this pass link juice on to my category/product pages as well or just queries for my main site?

It will spread the juice to any pages that the home page links to.

For example: Homepage -> Mens shoes or Homepage -> Kids Clothes

Yes, link juices from your homepage are passed to your category and product pages. The links to your homepage add up and increase the PageRank of your other pages.

Dear mate,

Definitely, home page link juice will pass to all inner pages.

It will work vice versa as well.
