Pass link juice from Expired domain

Hello,I just bought expired domain and pointing it to my server/hosting
What should I do if I want to pass the link juice from newly expired domain I bought to my own site?
What's the best practice for pass the link juice? Should I rebuild the expired domain and then set 301 redirect to my own site or just go straight 301 redirect?

usually rebuilding it will be the best choice, there was a podcast I remember seeing from a PRO seo guy, and he mentioned that after doing a 301 the amount of traffic went down by 80% that is not always the case, but basically he managed to revert the change and get back that traffic lost, I would suggest rebuild - and perhaps redirect a pillar page.

Rebuild the site. Rebuilding the site would give you the opportunity to know if there's anything wrong with it, any Google penalties. It'll also help you restore some backlinks.
 
Rebuilding that I always prefer. Revive those pages of the expired domain to the new URL that has been getting traffic in the past. It will help you :)
 
Recreating the site is always a good first step. Rest should be determined based on the size of the site you purchased and mainly based on it's niche relevancy.

If that site isn't as related as possible, then forget any 301 redirects and focus on building a PBN. To be frank, do yourself a favor and forget you ever heard about 301 redirects.

For rebuilding, use Archivarix. And be careful with trademark/copyright breaches. Recreating a site always breaches these and sometimes people and registrars can get pissed off.

Anyway I forgot to mention that the expired domain doesn't have any page before it's,all backlinks are pointing at root domain
 
Both strategies you mentioned can work, but it really boils down to the quality and relevancy of the expired domain in relation to your main site. Straight-up 301 redirects work too, especially if the domain's authority is high and closely related to your niche.
 
HI, My 10 year domain was lost, I forget to renew and someone bought it, is there any way you can get it back?
