Pass KYC with a silicone face mask?

Anyone ever try this?

Get an ultra realistic face mask, make an ID with it, and try passing some KYC?

I think crypto exchanges might be hard to fool but almost everything is using kyc these days, dating sites, payment processors, opening a checking account in some countries.. maybe they are easier to pass

If it's a good quality mask like those C(I)A ones it should work perfectly.
 
Dating apps yes
Payment processors and bank accounts nope

TOTALLY DOABLE.

Literally, create a realistic mask, take pictures of you with it, create your own physical docs, then take pics of them

you can make your own video with the fake mask + printed docs and bypass any kyc request they ask ;)
 
As far as I know, it won't work. Unless the service provider is a small company.

I was engaged in at an AI company.

We do simulation testing for many cameras used for face recognition.

Before the product launch, we will use: printing paper, coated paper, white cardboard, glossy photo paper, matte photo paper, five kinds of materials, RGB color, black and white, IR color, IR black and white, rubber mask, 3D mask .... Different materials to model the face and wear it. Then we go back and test if the face recognition machine will pass fake “face”

We'll be making faces of almost 500 people.

Different races, different genders, different ages.

We call it the “Live Person Attack Test”, and when the camera passes the test, it goes to market.
 
Try displaying the face on a 3D Tablet like Lume Pad 2 (https://www.leiainc.com/lume-pad-2); that could possibly fool the camera. Maybe just show the picture of the person to the camera—KISS principle. wrong, tinder and other match group verifications use facetec to verify, they have a 600k bounty for various bypasses, 60k of that bounty is for silicone masks / busts

If I bypass their system using a mask they pay me 600k ?
 
It’s interesting and what about having make up fake hair and beard with blue or green lenses contact ?
