I'm in talks with a fellow black hatter about partnering to sell a bunch of domain name that I own. He will find prospective buyers for my domains and once we make a sale then we split the proceeds 50/50. But Since we dont know each other. How do we set things up so that we can trust each other in this venture? Is there a way to set up an escrow during the sale of a domain, so that we both are part of that escrow transaction with a prospective buyer? Any advice from other who have done such joint ventures in the past would be much appreciated.

Thx.

Good friendship = Pure mathematics. Trust a person, but don't trust the devil in that person. Got it ??

Its simple, ask for the buyer to pay straight into ur paypal account and then you send the 50% commission to the middle man.
thats how it works all over the world and they r ur domains after all.

Use ur account on every transactions

Safest it can get

Don't do it.

If you do, always have the money go to your account, then pay the other guy.

Touch willies, this will ensure there is a level of trust among the both of you.

Seriously though, if the person has lots of experience then its not a problem, just sell one at a time though, until you get the money then your protected, but it is one of the easiest things to do online, selling a domain, just making sure that the buyer doesn't do a chargeback is what you should be looking out for.

Did you tried to sell the domain by yourself?

50/50 is a huge..

Btw, list the domains here. There might be a potential buyers here.

I would try selling them on SEDO or GoDaddy Auctions first.

sell it by yourself first, if you can't or don't have time then
make someone sell it for you, for the split, I think 50/50 is too much, in my opinion 70/30 is ideal, since the domains are yours, if he/she doesn't interest in that split, find another.
make the money goes to your account, then you give the 30% of the money to the one selling your domains
