quick question guys misses is sending a cloathing parcel from uk-usa
to a family member who doesnt have much. weight 6KG postage cost
77GBP parcel contains cloathing and new pair shoes.

as the people its going to have no budget does anyone no if theres a
custom charge when parcel lands state side?

Depends on the declared value. We ship weekly DHL as well as normal post parcels to US with a declared value of up to USD 300.00. So far ( and it's been a LOT of parcels ) there were never any customs duties or taxes to be paid.

cheers buddy - didnt want them with a bill they cant afford

Just keep the declared value under USD 100.00 to be on the safe side.

77 GBP for 6kg - that is quite a rip off. But UK also takes 27 pounds on a DHL shipment with a declared value of just under USD100.00.

77GBP for a 13LB parcel isnt to bad

Prob would have been easier to buy a voucher for online store over there. The prices of clothing in the US is cheaper than here too.

thats what we call the personal touch when u buy something for some1
who doesnt have much, cost is irelevent, its the thought that counts
