Parasite SEO with LinkedIn

Where do I post articles on LinkedIn to get them ranked in Google? All I see at the moment is a button that says "Post" which just posts text to my profile. Is LinkedIn Pulse/Articles a separate thing? How to do I get access?

Does the LinkedIn account need to be aged? Do I need a certain number of connections? What else do I need? Should I make an account from USA? Male or female (or doesn't matter)?

I just want to rank parasite SEO articles in Google. I do not need the account for networking or getting business leads.
