Yes, you can boost the ranking using backlinks. What you have to check how authoritative is the parasite site compared to the other site in the SERP, to see how many backlinks you have to add, to boost rankings.

Parasites can benefit from backlinks. But remember, not all parasites are created equal. Some platforms resist manipulation better than others. When you're linking, ensure the links are of high quality; spammy links might just bury them deeper.

I think backlinks for parasites are overrated and will take too much time to take effect. You risk that medium / gitlab page getting removed before.
Backlinks make sense if you pay someone and get a guarantee they wouldn't remove your post.

I see Gitlab ranking for game hacks, cpa terms.
I've found it hard to get my post to stay live on there. They seem to have good moderation.
A bit like Gumroad.

In practice you shouldn't need backlinks to your parasites and they must rank themselves.
But if your properties aren't ranking you can try building some links because in most cases editing the content for optimization isn't possible.
Or it's best to build more parasites & see how it turns out.

Github, hackerrank. All that shit won't work. They're programmers and they know how to fight spam.
I found 10s of sites but once I post spam on them, they take action. One time they even disabled user generated content site wide cause of me... I'm not doing it anymore cause it lasts usually like 3 days before they implement anti-spam mechanisms.

You can build links to rank your parasites, I think forum & medium links hardly get indexed unless your articles are of good quality. Try building some PBN & effective links to rank soon.

Hey Is This Still relevent in the Day1 of 2025 ? , Just did some parasite Seo but they seem to rank all on the 100 rank , So I need Just to Try other parasites , should I link beetwen them ? ( the most of the dR for the my keywords are less than 30 according to mozbar)
