How many of y'all have seen this movie?

    It's pretty good

the marketing behind it was genius

They only spent 15,000$ total making it and already made $9,000,000+ and they open world wide on Friday due to the demand (they teamed with eventful.com)

Here's a preview if you haven't heard of it. It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be but it's getting amazing hype word of mouth and the digital marketing behind it (demand) is genius

    Pretty scary though

Paranormal movie making. (Blair witch project) Submersive reality movies marketed well. This one just seems like Ghost hunters gone wrong but with better actors.

Just got back from this movie..

To me it wasn't that scary as I predicted but I can see how it would be scary for like 17 year old girls though.. My GF seemed to think it was the scariest movie she's ever seen. I personally thought the blair witch project was scarier. I'm just not a firm believer in that type of stuff.. I believe more in scientific facts rather than paranormal activity/ghosts.

Like the OP said though, the hype for this movie was genius. These guys hit a home run for sure..

My question is, how much did they spend on advertising? The movie may have only cost $15,000 to produce, but they had a heck of a lot of commercials airing for this.

I'm very curious how much they spent on advertising. If you find out blackmagique, please post it!

Even if they spent $200,000 on advertising, they still have a superb ROI.

Also, I'm curious to know how teaming up with eventful.com helped them take it world wide? The eventful site looks like more of a local event/concert site. Please post what you heard about this blackmagique!

    Thanks! :)
