Paranoid about using Google Docs

I have tested numerous online spreadsheets, but Google Docs spreadsheet is very good for handling linkbuilding data. But I'm paranoid. It's Google. Do you guys use Google spreadsheets for URLs or something else that's recommended?

Also, whenever I seem to see adsense ads these days, I get shown adverts related to recent searches I made on Google, as opposed to just ads related to the content of the site? Gooogle is watching.
