Long time reader/lurker here, just thought I'd post a thread that diverges a bit from those I've seen on here thus far. I usually see a lot of "How do I make money?" threads in here. I'll pose the same question for you all, but I will list my current skills in hopes that will improve any guidance I receive from this community.
I love reading threads on this site but at this point it's almost just knowledge for knowledge's sake. The threads are informative and entertaining, but as of now I don't do ANY digital/internet marketing. I attribute this to being paralyzed by choice. There are so many methods and journeys documented here that it's hard to know which path to choose to get started on something. In essence, I've had trouble choosing a niche and the methods to go with that niche, as there are so many that I am interested in and can see potential in.
Things I'm good at:
Google-fu, Python, Ruby on Rails, Web Automation, Writing (e.g. have written op-eds), Tech Writing, OSINT, HUMINT, investigative journalism, Social Engineering
My interests:
Art, UI/UX design, OSINT, HUMINT, dark web, politics, online debate culture, smoking weed
I suppose I'll add to this that I'm not really cool with ripping other people off. If I'm screwing over some huge corporation then fine, but I would never be interested in anything that involves scamming random people (crypto rug pulls) or anything that involves using someone's likeness to make money (deepfakes, id theft, etc). So I guess I'd only be interested in grey hat/white hat kind of stuff, but feel free to suggest literally anything, even if it's blackhat, since I find that stuff interesting to know about regardless.
With all that said, knowing my skills and interests, where should I start my journey? Thanks in advance, playaz...
