Panic attacks

What is Stella? Never heard of it and cant find good info on google about it

Stella Artois, commonly known in the uk as "wife beater" as it's the favoured drink for real men who like to go home after 15 pints of the stuff and beat their wives!

My brother used to have severe panic attacks. He once devised an ingenious way to stop it.

All you can have to do is clear your thoughts. Just blink your eyes and clear whatever thoughts you have in your mind (leaving you a mindless zombie state). If your panic thoughts start rushing in again, blink your eyes again to clear all thoughts.

And as you do it, relax every single muscle in your body - particularly the abdomen and shoulder areas. As you relax, keep blinking your eyes to clear your thoughts. Make sure there's not a single thought or voice in your head.

Of course, your mind will start bombarding thoughts like, "NO WAIT, THIS ISN'T WORKING AT ALL!!!" and such... blink your eyes again. The reason why you're still panicking when you're trying to relax is because of all the adrenaline hormone being released by your adrenal glands and it is circulating around your body - it takes some time to let it die off. So when you stop all your negative thoughts and relax your muscles, you've successfully stopped the adrenal glands from releasing any more adrenaline... it is the previous influx release that's still circulating that's causing you to panic. So blink your eyes and clear your thoughts, relax your muscles, and wait for the adrenaline that's circulating in your body to die off.

Also, try to use CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy). I'm sure after your panic attack incident, you're afraid to get back to driving. Now just picture yourself leaving your home and getting back to your car. As you visualise yourself driving back to the highway, think of relaxing and positive thoughts... like the beautiful weather, your favourite song playing on the radio, the tranquility and peacefulness as you drive, .etc. Let yourself know that there's nothing to worry about... you're in control and you're the driver, there's nothing wrong will happen. Then slowly expose yourself to driving back again but take it slowly - like taking the slow lane and cruise slowly, .etc.

Good luck!

Knock knock. Anybody Doctor here ;) ?

If you run over kids you get extra points cuz they are faster and smaller and harder to hit.

Old people don't give you as many points.

I got panic attack for many years due to coffee and smoking almost everday.
After move to vaping, and stopping coffee. No more panic attack. No more random fast heart beat.

Nobody here is a qualified doctor so you shouldn't take any advice as golden here.

Do you drink coffee? Do you drink alcohol? Do you take drugs?

What's your diet like? How much do you exercise? Do you take any supplements?

What's your family's medical history?

There are just way too many things to consider in order for someone just to give you the right answer here.

Screw the booze, try some ayahuasca in a safe place with some good people you can talk to and you will sort half your life's shit out in one evening.

I have a history with panic attacks. Nowadays most of the time i only get panic attacks when i drive on the highway, any tips?
I found this keyword for you: "panic attacks while driving"

Hope you will utilize it properly...

I think the best thing you can do is consult a doctor, not BHW users.

What you need is God. He does not give the spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind. Don't try so hard while the answer is just a breath away.

I think it would be helpful to edit your original post and talk about potential medical history ?

I have panic attacks in crowded areas and after public speaking engagements.

I don't take anything for it. When it happens I just deal with it.

Maybe you ought to pull over until it subsides. Otherwise you might kill someone.

I mean what kind of answer are you looking for here?
