Panels Won't Matter Soon Even If Services Work

For those who resell IG likes/followers/views and its big part of their business

it seems like it won't be matter anymore
IG latest changes in UI that started taking place in many devices (and NOT just in their testing environment in Canada)

Are Hiding Likes and EVEN FOLLOWERS/FOLLOWING from the profiles.
therefore.. it won't matter anymore

thoughts ?

I think so. Instagram is not stupid, just imagine:
1) The same 100 accounts are liking/commenting on every post
2) Those accounts are not even following the receiver account
That's a big no no.. Instagram knows where those likes/comments come from, as well as telegram groups won't be working soon because Instagram can track links where they are coming from

I am saying something different,
I mean, even if they do work - because there will be a way always - it will just be much more expensive
BUT it won't matter
because in the USER INTERFACE itself there is no showing anymore of followers / likes and views counts - so users won't need to fake engagement when nobody sees it anyway..

got me ?

Then instagram would just die and they revert the changes month later.

why you think so ?
you think that those counts affecting the users daily usage that much ?

I think thats what they actually testing right now, but if thats not that affecting so it will probably happen.. they already started in many devices UI updates
and I just saw it - they really don't have the follow and likes counts
 
I dont know who really use panels that couldnt use other alternatives, all services on panels are made with the lowest quality plus the most spammy appearance as possible, its like to just purchase a number who will go against you when any real analytic measure is applied.

We just need to adapt, a social plataform is always based on human interaction and one of this trait is literally the choice to expand your network that wont be purged.
Unless you are flipping followers or fake likes or doing anything that is midly technical and serious I dont see a 100% purge scenario.

You have no idea how much it hurts for teens not to show off with likes and followes, yeah it will affect it

I definitely get what you're saying, but I am talking about agency model that offering end clients growth & numbers.
I would like to hear your thoughts since I saw you are very active and it seems you have a lot of knowledge in the industry

If you take the Instagram Growth Agency model serving end-clients, what would you offer them after all this followers/likes/views counts disappear, and the actions limits become strict AF?

I am not so sure
because you also need to think about how many teens don't use IG because they are so afraid people won't like them and see how losers them
Usually in the world and especially with teens and schools - the "loosers (who will be glad IG hides those numbers ASAP)" numbers are higher than "winners (those who are so proud of the presence)"

Since network effect will always exist (if this is purged it lose the social plataform trait and become a local niche plataform that is like a local craiglist with pictures) you can always sell "local control", "local growth" and "local targeting", even without showing numbers of followers/likes IG will always favor profiles with higher trust and viral content, so as long you fit that criteria you can always be favour compared to someone who doesnt fit.

So as long you can push people to fit that criteria you can sell whatever service you wanna ^^

Nope, what you are talking is literally something that literally just happen with people outside the average curve and those like the shiny unicorns are always the lowest probability and not the average.

A normal teen (even a male one) have atleast more than 250 friends on FB, with a 25% conversion rate this would be 62 solid real life audience that would like and engage with him on IG, even a normal male have likes and some followers by social circles effect, the ones you are talking about are people who are usually without any real social circle and that is the lowest number on a comparison rate to "normal individuals", at all the social plataforms dont even care to them because they wont:
-Produce viral conten
-Produce value effect
-Reach many people
In a business comparison IG would prefer 1 great looking individual that generate value effect than to have 1000 "ghost" users without any real range.

Instagram is not designed for those "loosers" as you describe them. Even if likes and followers disappear from users interface (which will be the end of instagram, period), the algorithm will be still there to catch the most engaged content. And that definitely will be still nice photos, videos from fake celebrities and accounts that know the game. Instagram was always about "pretty" things, it's not youtube or twitter.

Does you see how many likes a site on G00g have when you search and it show on the first page? You dont, but they are there, if IG do it properly they can takeout numbers (with the way we have nowadays) and even increase their popularity because if done properly it will be better than nowadays.

I completely disagree with you, numbers are the only reason instagram exists in the first place and will be dying without them.

Instagram exist mainly because people need to have a "high value associated plataform" and the others: FB, Twitter etc cant fit that
IG is mainly associated with High Value individuals, different than FB and other plataforms, this is the main view of the average user as you usually just see "high value individuals" when you search for something, its the "cool boys" club idea being sold globally as its normal brother facebook doesnt is associated with rich/high value individuals.
If IG existance was only related to numbers it wouldnt almost outbeat FB or other plataforms that had first move advantage, IG is like the woman who come from a well known family and have a inate value of something upper class, while the others are just normal woman.
Even if they take out numbers as long they have high value content and individuals (to fuel the social pyramid) it can and will exist.

If your analyzis is just based on "huhuhu billion laikes or something related" then you have to use the right measures.

Again: People go to IG because they know the highers up are already there, so unless all viral content or high quality content creators leave it I dont see they been crushed.

You over-analyze everything. Instagram is better than facebook because of its simplicity and better design - mostly due to hashtags. Small accounts can reach viral thanks to their content and good use of the hashtags already with numbers existing in the UI. Why change that then, no point.
People don't go to IG because "highers up are already there" xD, they go to IG because it's simple. They know they gonna see only nice photos, videos not some stupid posts with ideological bullshit. They see what they like, they click like, follow, comment, SIMPLE.
So why instagram will die without numbers? Because literally every teenager, model, influencer, photographer, chef, dog, cat, meme, traveler, architect etc. cares about numbers and is addicted to them. Also sponsors, investors like those numbers visible, delete numbers - delete money.
