This is interesting. My quality sites seem to be getting a lot more traffic, while my crappier sites seem to have moved down slightly. The drops aren't huge. One site moved from spot 2 to spot 4.

I see some of my video serps jumping all over the place, in fact its competing with a regular serp. Maybe goog is dumbing down the video serps.
Hey guys, if you are familiar with how Googles Search Engine servers actually update, you will understand why posting your results as of right now, is not really relevant to if you have been or will be affected by the update. You are better off waiting another few days before you truly look at the results. And don't look at a single keyword or two, look at your TOTAL impressions and click throughs, if you have Google Webmaster Tools, and at least your TOTAL Google Traffic if you don't have GMT.
Even if YOUR site has already been updated, your competitors might not. So better just wait and give it time, and actually have a few days worth of data to analyze before getting happy or sad.

After dropping to page 9 for my main keyword, I want to bat off and start building links and adding new content ....
But I am with you, I am waiting a week before doing anything..... But damn is it killing me!

It is also important to understand, that Google isn't perfect. They do small tests of course before rolling these updates out, but on a massive scale, they may see negative effects from their side once they roll it out, and tweak some of their algorithm settings. I know its tempting, but I think waiting and getting more data before taking action is the smart move.

I noticed some changes in the ranking of my website. A keyword which was recently bounced off top 100 came back. There are some small shuffles in the ranking of other keywords though. However, the changes in the ranking of top 200 - 300 keywords are crazy, up 100, 70, 80 and vice versa.
Im wondering if there isn't a little penguin that has slipped into this panda update, I noticed the same behavior for my main keyword on the penguin update. Dropped from spot 1 on page 1 to spot 3 on page 1 ... No big changes in traffic.
Actually it danced for the last 2 days between spot 1 , 2 and 3 and then finally settled today at spot 3. I was on spot 1 for more than 5 months.
Anyway I guess I'll wait for a week to see if there are any improvement.

I noticed a big change on long tail keywords with absolute no backlinking! From nowhere to be found in several sites I went up to at least 2nd page. In one site where I dont see any change there is an almost 100% raise on traffic, though I cant see any changes in keyword rankings

and it is now out of index cant find it on google even if I type in the actual URL. Interestingly there wasnt lots of Black Hat staff. However, just yesterday I ordered some big package from one of the guys from BHW. Wonder if that all got in together.
