Still better to diversify Some organic traffic, some PPC and some e-mail marketing. Then there's really nothing to worry about once a good system is in place.

i have seen some slight changes to some of the sites from cerain geo locations. I think there will be some more update coming soon.

I'd say a few pointers towards the above article and things to "watch out for"
The article is not bad, however, the focus with many SEO's is slipping away from what each of these small updates are about, and what they're actually doing to the Google algorithm. Yes, it's good to have a logical naming convention to allow us all to discuss the same update, however I'd say the naming of it, be it 1,2,3.4 or 1.1 1.2 etc. is 99% unimportant relative to the actual affect it has to the Google SERP results.
If an SEO can tell me panda 3.91 is out, I'm not impressed. If an SEO can tell me 3.91 effected X,Y and Z, it's actually useful to me. Yes, there is info on what each of these updates are doing, however, these resources are fading away and the naming convention is getting almost as "noisy" as the assumptions made about what changes are being done.

Curious. My big site has seen an overall dip in traffic, including search engine traffic for the past week. BUT, in saying that, it is a seasonal issue. I'll have to see what happens. The dip isn't drastic and its still a vast improvement from 6 months ago.
The strange thing is our core keywords are doing just as good, so I'm not sure "what" search engien traffic we're losing, there is a LTO of long-tail keywords people enter in with and the (not provided) stuff doesn't help -_-

Like the majority of the time this is most likely hype, I'm tracking over 1k kws and I see nothing out of the normal to be honest, maybe its not hit yet, maybe I'm doing something right, maybe it was a slight adjustment made to the algo rather than something drastic as people assume or shit maybe nothing happened we'll know in a few days I guess....

I'll have the tissues ready then. But I don't see squat. This appears more like a PR move by Google judging by the lack of any movement in niches I monitor. Google totally dropped the ball on domain crowding so they have to hurry up and release something that makes them appear as if they're doing something other than getting paid to play with stuffed animals all day long.
