Saw your thread then checked my rankings for some websites i don't promote anymore, and i can confirm that:

Like i said, i stoped promoting those websites months ago but i remember i used some penalized networks on them in the past. My authority websites are not affected.

Matt Cutts reported it as mistake and many rankings are back after the couple of days fall. I've got one keyword back today. It seems that they tried the update and mess something. Many sites were affected.
I had a couple of clients sites that fell for a couple of days or so but as of this afternoon...all of them are now back to the original rankings. Anytime that my rankings decline, I always wait a couple of days or so before I jump into panic mode. This helps me keep my hair

Wow this is good to hear. With so many sites getting horribly affected, its good that this was a mistake.
That being said, Big G is definitely getting smarter.

Well it seems like better to focus on site instead of ranking nowadays

yea I have noticed a massive drop in traffic starting the 20th... like loss of 60% or more of my sites traffic is gone. sucks

It could be the Over-Optimization penalty everyone was talking about. Several of my sites were hit.
