One of my big sites skyrocketed in the rankings three days ago for tons of keywords.

I hope this doesn't bring them all down again!

I ignore 99% of the stuff he talks about, but this is a formal announcement about an update with numerous news sources backing it up with data - so yes, I do believe it. Why would he lie about rolling out a new update?
 
I agree with Meathead.... it's dfo been rolled out!

instead of wasting time doubting and talking and complaining about it!

lets focus on moving forward and establishing what we do and do not know about Panda 4.0, so those that got hit, can recover.

Actually I welcome this update. Woke up this morning, checked the rankings for my clients and was like WTF?! Then I checked matt cutts's twitter and it hit me.

A lot of sites who had previously went down in rankins are back up now. Looking at a general keyword movement, 60% of the kw's are up, 20% are stationary and the other 20% are in decline. Woo hoo.

So for once, thanks big G.

What are you using to track rankings? I haven't noticed too much movement on any of mine so far.
 
Good point @UrsuAke -- sometimes the big updates might be a good thing?

Rank tracker from link assistand and Majestic SEO. Checked some kws by hand as well as a double check, they add up. Maybe I got lucky I don't know. Talked to other SEO's I trust, most didn't notice much movements either but a few did. Weird but I'm loving it :) Free rankings ftw!
 
Up across the board for most sites. 10 to 15 spot jumps for a few. This update I can live with.
