Panda 3.4 Confirmed

Was ranking 10th for a phrase but got bumped down to around 30th. The annoying thing is there is a page ranking 5th now with a barely readable spun article. All back links to this page consist of unreadable spun articles with anchor diversity worse than mine. Very confused.

Not really big changes since the last one as someone have stated. Alot of people seem to be having problems.....let see how it will go

This update makes me a sad panda.. Got pretty humped my revenue got cut in half I hate google so much right now. I'm trying very hard to recover my losses.

When I go to the gun range I am going to use a panda as my target picture...

from the looks of the serps, I can only guess that things will have to change. hopefully! I just cant see things sticking like this, at least for some of the results I am seeing.

BTW, my autoblogs are kicking ass now. Too bad they don't make that much. So far I am seeing 3 to 4 times the traffic. Most of these sites are using UAW (terrible content). I added this message to the top of the blogs that have no monitization.

Welcome to my site searcher, you are seeing this crap because the people at Google don't know what they are doing, feel free to use Bing.

I am now working on a few more autoblogs and using affiliate stuff to make money. Not much traffic per article but I can set them to put out 20 to 30 articles per day and not have to do jack...

I thought the same thing when the sept 2011 panda hit, all my crappy sites got a boost in rank while my good sites dropped. I proclaimed all over this forum that there is NO WAY google could be keeping it and that it was probably just a test of some kind.

I kept saying there's no way google would keep such crap results at the top. About 6 months later... crap is still at the top lol.

Seems I gave them too much credit...

I think that I, and many of us, really need to concentrate on getting other forms of traffic. Even if you put your eggs on many baskets (different sites). If you mainly rely on Google for traffic or Adsense for monetization, you really are putting yourself at risk. I am starting to learn that lesson more and more.

Agreed! Make lists, jump into FB advertising, etc... You gotta think beyond just organic serps. I'm trying to rank for those too, but I'm also devising plans and starting to implement them for traffic that has NOTHING to do with how a site ranks in google or anywhere else. It's not easy. Can be downright boring too. But it's become a must IMHO....

It's your only weapon against getting wiped by Google in one single day. All those eggs in one basket will make for a BIG mess if the basket gets dropped!

Best of luck,

From 78th, I moved on to 95th then 23rd then 18th today. I loved MJ's dance only, but now I love google's too :P

Got hit too. I have great link diversivity. My rankings? I was ranking with 4 keywords #1. Now 2 of them are gone, one is on #18 and the other one on #15. Another kw who was on #5 now is nowhere. Another two keywords that were both on #2 are nowhere. Another keyword that was on #42 now it's nowhere. This update it's a BIG bullshit. They don't give a shit on link diversivity or quality backlinks. They only unleash their crappy algos and proudly announce that this one will sweep all the crappy sites from page 1 and give credit and rankings to the good ones. The result? Check the 1st page and you will see it full of new shitty sites on it.

Well my site is back up to it's normal rank, for the most part, it was down for about 14 hours. I guess I will wait and see what happens.

As far as im concerned, Google is a big fat fucking :liar:

Serp is worse than a year ago for sure.
The worse serp -> the more clicks on adsence blocks.
But if the serp is absolutely bad than people would just use another SE.
I think what happens now is that the Google by playing with serp results tries atm to maximise clicks on adsence. Google needs money desperately, the've closed recently a lot of non-search related side services because they need a lot of money for something, or they just have some financial problems.
So don't expect Google to fix their serps. They will try to keep the serps as bad as possible, but keep the results more or less relevant to the searched keyword.

If you love panda, he loves you. Yes that's right. I really love panda every day (lol) and my rankings go with every update up!

If you hate panda, then he hates you to!

Google f** my business too but that is evolution guys, nothing stays the same.

Survival of the fittest is the rule of any market.

There is plenty of methods to make money beyond organic, and even with organic link building is not over, there is methods working but obviously people only do the easy way of buying services, they never harvested serps for new methods.

Speak for yourself my man... I am doing great and I have been hit every time Panda struck. I just produce more than I loose. That is the key... oh yea and diversity. :P

This is a bit ridiculous. For one of the terms I gave up on a while back - a medical/beauty term.

1) Yahoo Answers
2) My site
3) My Site
4) One of my Web2.0s
5) One of my Web2.0s
6) Competitor (who was #1 for the last 2 years)
7) One of my Web2.0s
8) One of my Web2.0s
9) Answers.com on a different topic - i.e. if this was about makeup, the answers.com is about skin cancer.
11) One of my Web2.0s
12) One of my Web2.0s
13) Competitor
14) Competitor
15) Competitor
16) Competitor
17) Discovery Channel article about a sport
18) My site
19) One of my Web2.0s
20) Youtube Video

These 2.0s are 6-15 months old each, heavily heavily spammed with xrumer and scrapebox, but I havent backlinked them in months.

Meanwhile on my other niches I'm losing 1-2 spots an hour while my web2.0s and promo sites are moving up equally.

What's up with penalizing "over-optimized" sites? You don't optimize, you lag behind. You optimize and you are at a risk of being penalized. Dafaq G!

This is kickass!

" The best way to rank now is to place a picture of a lady Panda (preferably in lingerie) on the webpage you want to rank. Use your keyword to name the pic and in the 'alt' tag! (Trick by member TheMatrix for fun - but good one lol) "

Yea i am starting to see sites that where spammed to the teeth with SB and Xrummer ranking. Guess when Google hit those using article networks, they made room for those that used other methods.... Oh yea and authority sites that are less than relevant:eek:.
