What r my options?

We are both in the States...same State actually.

He advertises on Craigslist

He had a website.

I know his girlfriend's website and bricks and mortar biz.

I wrote him two checks that he cashed.

He keeps having excuses...started in Mid February.

Last contact was May 04 via email that he would get back to me May 10th.

Long story short...NADA! despite my calls and emails


What would you do?

CL postings - so others don't use his service

Basically a game plan to thwart this predators efforts.

how did you pay him? if by paypal do a chargeback. if not go to his house if he is local.

Yeah do a chargeback through you're bank... Since you said you're in the same state I'm guessing he isn't local so I doubt you payed cash

if u paid thru paypal.. U cannot do a chargeback since it has only 45 days for Chargeback filings.

If you have paid 4 months ago thru paypal, U cannot claim for chargeback which it exceeds 45 days money back period

Ok here are a few things to check.

First see if he has a real company. that is set up as a dba, llc or inc. Next I would sign up with Pre paid legal and have them send a legal letter for you.

Then if that doesn't work then go file at the small claims court. This is cheap to do.

Then go and file reports on all the rip off report sites that you can find.

since you wrote him checks. take him to small claims court. hopefully he does not live too far away from you.
