Where can you buy paid-for-testimonials?

Eg. I am starting up a business and need to have social proof, so I want to pay someone to go on video and read from a script acting as a customer of mine

I guess you could find them on Fiverr, there are people who'll record "anything you want" for $5.

So you can write a few sentences and tell them to record themselves saying that.

Hopefully that's what you mean.

Give them a script. Don't mention testimonial anywhere.
