Paid Image Hosting Twist

Hey I actually just posted this idea in another thread where a guy was asking how to monetize a wares site.

I HAVEN'T TESTED IT (since I came up with it 30 seconds ago)

But it should work pretty well for a few bucks.
Ok so there was a thread a long time back about making money using image hosting services, the ones that pay you for views of your image. The basic idea was to host semi nude pictures on one of those sites and then post the picture on adult forums. I think people were making less than $10 a day so not really worth it.

So here's what I propose, do it on your own site. Let's say you have a site, any random site, the amount of traffic doesn't matter. Well I'm willing to bet you have images on your site, be they logos, before and after pics, or whatever.

Sign up for all the paid image hosting sites, you really wanna spread out your earnings. Now upload multiple copies of each image to all the image hosting sites. Then use a rotator script to show a different copy of the same image (from any one of the image hosting sites, just spread it out) where you normally have your image.

The images will all rotate putting some money in each of your accounts but your site appears unchanged. The more traffic you get the more money you make, hell if you have enough images on your site maybe junk traffic would be worth it.

If you have some autoblogs just do this for your logo or header. The possibilities are out there and variations are easy to come up with.

Remember, I haven't used this method so do it with new image hosting accounts. Even if you get banned you only put 10 minutes into setting it up so the risk vs. reward is pretty good.

Plus it's autopilot long term recurring income. More sites=more money

There are sites that pay you for simply srcing images from their server? That seems unlikely; I thought they only record clicks through to their actual site, where you see the image, but also lots of advertising. Can you link one that pays you simply for calling images?

If they pay you for calling images, why not just line up a load of 1x1px images along the bottom of your page? An image has no way of detecting the size it is being called at within an off-server html tag.

I've never heard about these sites. That could really be a long term money maker. Do you have any particular recommendations for any of these image hosting sites?

Yes, image hosts that pay will only pay for click through unique traffic. You could however have smaller images on your site and when clicked will go to the larger one on the image host that pays. Would be ok if you have a high traffic site to begin with.

nope since like I said, I haven't used this.

To people who want to be spoon fed methods: Tough luck.
I mean it's not hard to think of a way to use this. use thumbnails, post it in tags that calls the page the image is hosted on so nothing shows up but it counts as a click through for every single visitor to your page. I mean honestly guys. Come on, you have some brain cells, use em and make some money.

Paid image sites are PCC. The only way I can think of to extort this is to have a hidden iFrame of a bunch of them.

You did spoon feed a method, we're just pointing out it doesn't work because the sites are PPC. No need to get defensive and call us stupid for debunking an idea that doesn't work.
