Lots of talks going on these days regarding the use of managed crowd search to inflate rankings. Crowd search means you pay real people to search google for your keywords for which you are ranking may be in 2nd,3rd or 4th page etc and then visit your site and spend time making it look natural to google.

Seo guru claim that one of the key factor in google algo is the ctr (click through rate). How many people are visiting a particular site from serps. If you are getting higher ctr than the site above you then google may place you above.

Have you guys tried this.

I haven't tried this myself. But I saw campaigns that aimed at improving ranking by optimizing the ctr, so yeah I guess it works.

But I have no idea how to do paid crowd searches. Maybe crowdflower.

There was a shady software doing this, while ago.
I guess nobody had results and it got doomed.

However, I doubt it will be that easy to trick G. Surftools would become Standard SEO arsenal. It could be a factor, but from the weight I guess <2%

I've been testing a new software on 5 different sites for 2 months. I have seen no changes in movement. Google 'crowd search', and the top result is the product I've been testing. IMHO it's a waste of money. But I don't want to discourage you from testing.

Is your software testing crowd search through real users or bots? I know people have now started selling crowd search service.

The software they're promoting says that they're real users, but I'm not so sure about that. You can take a look at their sales page. They're the first domain when you Google 'crowd search'. Their sales page says they're currently closed, and you'd need to be on a waiting list.

I have had mixed results with this method. If I have a site that ranks in either the first or second page of Google, then use The Pandabot Network which is supposed to be a bunch of real users, my sites tend to rank higher...if I have a page that ranks out on page 8 or 9, it doesn't really seem to help.

It could help, but could easily appear unnatural e.g 500 people clicking on a URL that is ranking on page 5 for a keyword that only has 100 searches a month. So I think the way in which this can help is probably more complex and situation specific.

I agree with you.

When there was buzz around that, I coded my own software that worked with proxies that searched for KWs and clicked through. While it didn't help with ranking at all (and i tried all kinds of variatiosn with Google accounts logged in/no cookies at all/natural search history with random searches), it did help with keyword suggest and "releated searches". Not sure if it would work these days though, that was 1-2 years ago.

Ive used Serpify for a long time and it has some amazing results in google ctr. Your keywords will move up but you have to watch it many bots look like bots to google and even when people say its real people looking its not. You can watch your analytics i find it will only really help if you have small local websites. (not saying it wont work for big sites as well) Their is a major problem with the programs is that they are global... That means that you get people all over the world looking for your website in New York(?why would you have 150 people in in russia) 1/4 are US.

Im looking for a Tool that i can buy 100 to 300 ips for and run it on my local computer vs click trading systems. If any one know something that will look on google for key words with my ips and then return and go 2 to 3 pages in let me know.

you need a good system to do this, Quality ip s, not shitty datacen ter cr a p. lots to it, not just proxies, u need to spo of ur browser settings and stuff.

I tried crowdsearch.me and spent $100 but haven't noticed any improvements.I go for social signals now.

I sure would like to hear from people who have tried these crowd search programs. I was thinking of signing up for one such program, but luckily I saw this post.

Don't use any bots for this, use microworkers and let real people search your website in google

Too bad those microworkers are all from 3rd tier countries.

Just spam classified ad websites with a (fake) giveaway and you'll easily get 1000's of searches a mont for free. Been doing it for a while now.

won't the bounce rate be really high when they realise there is no giveaway?

Yes i had also seen this in clixsense there they offering micro workers to search and go to your page and they will get some pennies like 0.01$ for that, And they termed this as activity... People at clixsense goes crazy when they see activity and start doing it in just few seconds .... But i doubt that this help you to gain good position in serp.
