Paid backlinks cannot verify?

But like you said, you have no immediate validation that what you've paid for actually exists.

You should be able to validate that your links have been placed by keeping an eye on your backlink reports, both in GSC and via various tools like Ahrefs. As the link you're buying is being advertised via TF, which is a Majestic metric, then that should mean that at least Majestic's backlink reports will be reporting it.

Regarding the question of if this behaviour is normal in the PBN industry - I'd say no, not in the majority of cases.

They may pop into your GSC as I said, if you have massive control of your GSC (which you should have), you will discover those links. If they never pop, then you will understand that the work done is completely shitty

If the seller doesn't rely on you to give you the report + links don't pop on GSC, you will don't really have a way to identify the quality of the work. But personally, if they don't ultimately pop, the quality = 0.

The problem with linkbuilding in general, is that you cannot go inside that world with specific expectations, it's like a hit & miss world. And it's really difficult to spot and claim a scam. So definitely budgets on this topic go away like mad. Only experience, and trustworthyness are relevant here (not even reputation)
