ive noticed my pages being deleted quickly for the past few days.
to note: these are pages i have made before, and they lasted for about 10 days and got approx 20k fans.

just curious if anyone knows what facebook is looking for when deleting pages. is it linked to my ip? the content on the page (text)? simply flagging?

the pages i have been making contain nearly identical text to the first one.

another thing ive noticed is that facebook doesnt like people creating pages anymore. the facebook.com/pages is gone, and there is no link to create pages? i had to go through the link to create a group, and replace group with page in order to create today.

LOL...that is because they have been building a monitoring/filtering system and when you posted that cloned page of the original already banned, whatever was in there that they tagged the first go around with you has been used against you to speed up the process.

Facebook is getting tired of people spamming/scamming their members and they are taking harsh and fast action against people doing it. They don't want you promoting your site or offer through them unless you are a serious and sincere member of their ranks. Keep it clean and build yourself a real profile. You will make a lot of money off of those connections. You have to remember that facebook isn't a marketing resource like other social sites. It is all about hanging out, being friends and playing those freakin' games on there that are life-burners.

My suggestion, play by their rules and re-learn how to bendthem again without breaking them this time. They will allow you to make a ton of money and traffic from them if you simply direct people from your profile and it isn't a scam/ad page. These people flame worse than BHW members. You mess with them and they trash you so bad it makes a noob post asking for money here look like a slap on the wrist.

Food for thought.

thanks for the input. ill do some experimenting and and try to find out what works. my offer wasnt a scam, it was using a content blocker though. i think the problem was the 3 step code.

Interesting theory on the duplicate page thing - any idea what it examines? Because mine seems to go even on the spun titles

Well, to tell you the truth, from what I have seen and heard within the mods on facebook, they are talking about ' being in testing stages ' of their new updates and scam protection because members are being spammed a lot.

From what I can tell, they are tracking user ip activity and content matching so far...

Examples:

posting the same content that has already been found to be connected to a scam/spam or ad push.

member profiles coming in at the same time from logging in on multiple ips, due to people hacking and posing as friends of high profile members and sending their friends lists ad links, viral ware and bombs, etc.

member profiles logging in from multiple ip addresses that continue to grow and not just cycle as a shared ip from a normal hosting isp server would register 1-3 ips in random rotation over time. Proxies give this away as they change the profile ip to a new, unique everytime they use it. Dead giveaway, as that takes a simple member ip verification script to log and monitor that data.

members being caught using multiple profiles over and above the normal 2-3 profiles each member has, which tend to be one for promotional/public/commercial use and then a private id/profile for personal friends and family to communicate with them in peace.

member profile links being checked for connection to anything related to ' unacceptable ' content, material or practices, such as illegal, scam, spam, ad and ' morally lack material ', ( their term ), such as viral downloads, hacks, etc.

Sounds like you are simply under the radar. Keep it that way or you will be next, if they have anything to do about it.

Bend the rules people, don't break them, then you have nothing to stand on the next time you want to cross that bridge.

Food for thought.

Not meaning to imply that you are by any means. they definently don't like you to hide your content at all. That's probably what busted you in this case.

So do we think it is targeting the 3 step code, or titles or pictures or all of the above?

They are grabbing at straws right now and obviously searching/reviewing every prospect of discovering what is being done and how.

It could be all of the above. My bet is on them trying to profile the attacks and figure out what the routine markers are and plan to block those out of production, like the ' create a page ' feature being disabled for the time being.

well said mate! i agree with you! fb is taking spam seriously and i dont support doing all those stuff. I have seen fan pages over 700k fans still alive and the guy is making a killing by posting ************** links on the status.. sometimes i dont know whats up with fb. I dont think they should have any problem with the 3 step. We are not forcing people to become a fan or suggest unless you are making them do that to get the content. btw, just a quick question: can we put up ads on the landing page [fbml] .. like say 1-2 banners along with logos, company profile and then the 3 step? in simple term, is it allowed to monetize fbml/landing page!?

The "Auto Suggest" code will be kille dhte same way the original "Suggest to Friends"/"iFrame" codes died off: By Facebook changing their FBJS engine once again. To be honest, it looks pretty dead as of right now. Perhaps it's back to the ol' "Suggest to Friends" with the select All script yet again. ;)

Just like here, you are NOT allowed to ask for money or sell things out right. You CAN promote your websites though. If it is loaded or redirects, they are paying attention to those markers as red flags and banning them. Keep it simple and clean...use it for a backlink and nothing more. If the people interested in what you have to offer and see your posts, they will go check you out. Put the information out there and let them come to you, then it is marketing and not selling.
