Google will never update the PR anymore? It's been almost 6 months since the last update. Anyone here knows something about when will be the next update? Moz DA will be the next most used source?

It's not likely that there will be another update - the last one was a surprise, and G has long ago said they don't plan to keep updating it.

As for Moz DA being the next universally accepted indicator - that's highly unlikely. It's just too easy to manipulate.

But most of people when want to buy a link or a domain look for Pagerank... Yes, I know the other metrics and blablabla, but PR is still the most used metric for link buyers

I suggest to you that people who value PR most when they're link-shopping are not ranking as well as they used to.
 
There will be updates, but they will all be surprise updates or "better this than that" type, but you cannot count on it.

Yes that's true since PR updates are very random and you should only worry about it if you are into link selling.
 
Last PR updated happen on 6 December 2013 and nobody knows when will next update happen... As far i know next DA will update by 18th June...

These days peoples don't care about PR...

the last time that i listened something about updates was to march and it didn't success
 
Being a seller PR is still important, people prefer to buy posts from sites which has PR

I just see one seller giving PR6 homepage links on BHW, they may be expired/dropped domains, he has good sales because he has PR.

Further, If I have to buy posts etc, I will prefer blogs with Good DA and PR etc

Google is crazy, I remember matt cutts tweet when I said, there will be no update in 2013 and in last month pagerank update comes up. which shows they have some kind of internal communication gapes.

we will still count PR as important metric until Google officially announced its retirement.
 
Yes Google is not planning to give next update but people who want to buy links want to see the page rank of links so they just use pager rank tools.

Why do you even care, all these stats can be easily manipulated. Check backlinks!
 
This is actually a good thing in my opinion that PageRank is becoming obsolete. The harder it is to find out what domains are really WORTH IT the less people will find them meaning that the creative SEOs will continue to dominate. Lazy people just look at the PR toolbar and that's there answer whether or not they want a backlink.
