depends on what you mean whit "bad hosting" but if we talk free hosting, i presume it would make a diffrence acctually, since its been used more careless then the paid version (people easly signsup, then spam the sites everywhere) but i cant prove it for sure.

But its an intressting question you raise, i have started to wonder if all these free things are any good at all for seo, like free webhosting, free articlesites and so on.

Please define "bad hosting" if you want to get relevant answers...

Now, if your webhosting service has been "blacklisted"by Google (to say so), all the sites hosting there might suffer, I think...

Hosting is very important - if you want to get Excellent Page rank in Google!

So - bad hosting surely gives you bad result.
