have you guys removed google analytics because of wanting to improve your page speed?

No one will remove Google analytics code to improve speed. If you remove GA how you will check the traffic reports etc? What is your site speed? I don't think GA code will create page loading issues.

How removing google analytics will improve page speed? Moreover google analytics is a great tool that provides you great insights on your traffic and other metrics as well. Try google speed checking tools to make the right changes.

Dont try to follow everything that pops up on Page Speed Insight. Its an automated tool after all, and will always miss some context.

I am saying this, because you'd see it complaining about third party scripts (asynchronous) - ie. tracking lika ga or pixel. I faced this mostly with facebook chat plugin - big drop. But why bother? Its not blocking my initial render and I NEED that chat plugin.

There is nothing makes a difference to site speed by removing the GA

Definitely removing analytics from the page isn't a good idea. I am sure there would be something else impacting the site speed, GA has nothing to so with it and moreover how exactly you are planning to track the traffic.
