My business page reach dropped by 70% overnight. I didn’t change anything. Is this a new update or did FB throttle organic again? Anyone seeing similar results?

A 70% drop in organic reach is common, Facebook may have just tightened its algorithm to squeeze fanpage interactions and encourage advertising. You should check which types of posts are most affected and quickly switch to prioritizing video content (reels/live) to increase visibility.

You're not alone — Facebook is seeing a sharp decline in organic reach after recent updates.

Yes I noticed the same drop on my page. I’m planning to focus more on short videos and live sessions to see if that helps bring reach back up.

I have also seen the same phenomenon in recent days, the reach has dropped quite sharply even though the content is still the same. Not sure if it is due to an algorithm update or Facebook's new display test.

The algorithm has likely changed. Test content formats, focus on engagement, and provide support at a lower budget if necessary.

Sudden drops like this always push us to rethink our approach maybe it’s time to explore fresh tactics or diversify platforms before relying too heavily on one.
