page rank Update today 30- 10 -2009

My 2-month-old site's ranking dropped 20 days ago, I believed my website was got penalized by big G, but I just found that my homepage got a pr2 after the update! It seems so wired to me...
 
ARGH!eh, guys, I'm not showing off but I need guidance.My 1-month old website got a PR2; my another 3-weeks website PR is 0.Is that good or bad?

It's neither. Pagerank is irrelevant and has been for quite some time. Concentrate on building quality traffic and making money. I have no idea what the pagerank is on any of my sites anymore. It's a metric that too many people spend too much time worrying about.
 
does it mean serp positions are going to change?

I did a check on certain keyword search in Google and my website still stays at the same SERP
 
how often does google page rank, once every 2 months?
 
yes.. 3 months once is major update.

google dances :)
 
Sweet, most of my sites got bumped to a PR4, I know that doesn't have anything to do with their rankings, but it sure does help sell links!
 
My sites with Angela's backlinks got a boost of 2 to 3 points. Others with links from social bookmarking, article marketing got a boost of 1 to 2 points.
 
Page rank boosted form PR2 and PR3 to PR5. And now I am first in SERPS with both pages.
 
Mine dropped from 3 to a 2. :-(. Why?

hu hu mine just upgraded to +1 hehe. in fact 3 of my sites went +1 PR up
