Page Rank Update Last Night

On my main site i'm now ranking first on all the tailwords I had targeted. My competitor dropped down to rank six with news sites (like kotaku, gizmodo and so on) are ranking directly under me with articles on my niche. I was previously number 3 on google with that site.

PR is basically the only part of Googles hidden algorithm that we have access too. It's been downgraded in importance apparently, but it IS still part of the algorithm :D
(This is purely anecdotal, but I've checked my positions with Scroogle.org and they have improved...)
 
3 sites:
1: PR-PR1
2: PR3-PR6
3: PR0-PR2
the 3rd site is just a 2 article site... guess i'll just start working on that site a little more =-]

Seem's like they did a mass crawl pr update.
So does this mean that google updates PR in batchs? I always figured it would just be random updates like they do with backlinks and stuff...
 
My site increased from PR 0 ----> PR 1 (Only 2-3 months old ) :D

Yes only for certain sites the page rank is updated. What if it is updated ? No use at all. They don't (G' SE) consider PR these days.
 
I have about 30 websites all gone from pr0 to pr1-3
 
bunch of my websites from pr0 to pr2... some of my inner pages went from pr n/a to pr2.
 
4 sites - PR 1
3 sites - PR 2
1 site - PR 3

Not so good. :(
 
Thanks for the update...Just had my article directory jump from 0 to 3.
 
Hi, This pagerank upgrade affects all web pages checked by Google before Jun 12th. If Google visited your page within Jun 12th, now you are able to see the pagerank. If you created a page e.g. on Jun 13th, no pagerank has been assigned. That is what I discovered.
 
One of my tech blog went from 0 to 2 today.
I have read the entire thread i don't see anyone mentioning PR6.
 
have seen a huge jump in serps on some long tailed words on a few of my sites without promotion, one KW static around 700 now sitting pretty at 77....time to push on with backlinking again lol
 
I can't believe this, i have 2 micro niches site that i build just 2 month ago and now both are pr 2. I'm so happy !!
 
damn, 2 of my sites went down. btw, what are you using to check your PRs? just curious
