OK, I have managed to get a blogger blog to PR1 in 3 weeks just by manually sharing it's content across Twitter and facebook with no link building. Would be interesting to know if that's good going or no big deal.

None yet, but now it has increased in pr, I will put some adsesnse on it. I made the blog to feed a website to be honest. Not in itself a money site, but wouldn't hurt to try and monatize the blog itself I guess.

I did the same using G+ and digg share.
I think its has been easyer to get a pr1 now.

You can build a few blogs related to your niche and promote them through fb and twitter and create a net around your money site .With enough tweets you can boost your rankings in google...

You can also use this method to make money with twitter and possible rank your site in the process.

Social Media Marketing is becoming more beneficial as compare to link building in the near future...... its good deal, keep it up

I had a fairly new site jump from zero to two after the last update, which was odd. The site isn't making me any money as it's mainly an info site and gets very little traffic. Content is good though.
