I want to ask from the experts.
I have recently started an affiliate website related to entertainment and streaming. I have chosen low difficulty topics and also implemented KGR to find topics that could get rank or possibly gets impression. I have also implemented google indexing API.
My website was performing well in the first few weeks of launch even getting ranks and decent impressions but after 4 weeks, things changed for me, the new content that I am publishing is indexing if I view it on search console but not showing up if I check it through the "site:" operator.
  • My content is unique and of good quality, writen by expert writers not AI.
  • We are creating decent quality backlinks too.
I want to understand is this a normal behavior or there is something wrong here.

It's normal for fluctuations to occur in search engine rankings, and it can take time for new content to show up in search results....

GSC and site: almost never show the exact results. Why? I don't know, although there are some theories...

But yeah, it's normal. To see whether or not your URL(s) are actually indexed simply type them (in quotes) into google and if you see them, they're indexed

If it's not an aged domain, don't bother
Pages will keep shuffling for 5-8 months depending on the kw difficulty

Sometimes the searches does not show but GSC shows up , its happens , just try to re index .

Share the page on social media sites. Google console will pick them up

Thanks for the help and valuable feedback
