I have heard using page builder like elementor pro slow down the website? is that right?
What if we use optimization tools with it like rocket. and CDN. is that ok then to use page builder?
Also how we can check a wordpress theme is fast or slow before we start using it or install it on wordpress.

Mostly, I use Thrive Architect for my all Amazon affiliate sites and Elementor pro for my agency. I suggest you to go for Elementor which is better than Thrive architect.

Yea, it slows down but i don't think you'll see a huge difference.

There is not going to be any performance issues with elementor pro. Just use some caching plugins and you are good to go. Regarding performance of themes you can check it on their demo links

Elementor is fine, don't believe those speed nazis. If you want to drop plugin you can use their default builder Gutenberg

If you know how to optimize it you wont have any speed issues with elementor pro. I have used thrive for 2 years, and finally get rid of it and move to elementor.

Well, yes it does slows down the site speed, but you can do speed optimization.

If you are looking for a fast page builder, then you should look at Oxygen. Though you need to have some CSS, JS and HTML skills to keep up with it.

All the best

Yes, using plugins may slow down your website. Why specifically builder plugin? I have been using elementor builder for months now without any speed issue.

Speed Up A Slow Elementor Website

1.Disable Unused Elementor Addons
2. Move Away From Poor Hosting
3. Upgrade To PHP 7.4
4. Increase Memory Limit To 256MB
5. Configure Optimal WP Rocket Settings
6. Optimize Google Fonts
7. Avoid Slow Loading Plugins
8. Optimize Third-Party Requests
9. Resize Images To Correct Dimensions
10. Clean Your Database
11. Utilize CDNs
12. Use A Lightweight Theme

Page builders and plugins generally slow down your website

I've been loking at page builders, there's loads of them now. Have been using wp-bakery but am fed up with it.

What are peoples opinions of elementor vs themeco pro vs beaver builder vs oxygen vs divi?

I'm hearing good things about elementor & pro & oxygen but can't decide?

Am going to try Festingers vault to try them all out, unless you can all save me some time?

Why don't you share the source of your contributions?

you can also do speed ompimization on the server level (i.e. httpd config, MySQL etc) then the loading speed of the site will also increase despite what plugins you use.
keep in mind that speed isn't everything though, look at many big sites. their loading speed is slow as they load a ton of js scripts (tracking, ads, frameworks) and they still rank fine.

I strongly suggest Visual Composer because, it works well with all WordPress themes and similar to Beaver Builder and Divi .

Do these page builders have an impact on ranking? I m using thrive for posts, but when i check the source code it has several elements like (<div class="thrv_wrapper thrv_text_element"> ) before the content.

Does anyone rank well using thrive architect?
