Hello members,

Realtor in southern California (USA) here.
I was interested in using G0daddy web page builder for my realtor website. Does anyone know of anything that be better? I am not asking about a domain name providor but an actual website builder.

The biggest priorities are obviously SEO followed by business specific features

Thanks

WIX is popular for web building, you should check them out.

Godaddy is the mafia. Wix is limited and offers little control for seo optimization.

Best bet is to build your own site, solo style and create and optimize your gmb.

Can you elaborate on Godaddy being the mafia? i actually cant tell if thats good or bad

and what is GMB = google made business?

Im not a fan of Godaddy. I use Namecheap, personally. Godaddy will RIP you off on lots of things.

Yes, GMB is google my business

Yeah Godaddy is not very good. Ive had too many head aches dealing with them.
Yes GMB for local SEO would be a great idea and you can use their website builder thats attached to your page.
Ideally just create your own, maybe hire a freelancer on here to build you a wordpress site thats easy for noobs to
make changes.

Thank you all for your input. Based on the replies I will not use godaddy. My initial reasons for doing so in the first place were because of the domain names and because they allow you to attached PhPbb forums. Does GMB do this?

and why local SEO company instead of a national SEO company?

just learn wordpress . many widgets even aggregators for the mls, Im also a loan officer message me as I have leads in california from time to time

Your better off using a robust real estate theme as it will save you a lot of time instead of tweaking the site every time you open/close a new sale/listing. WP residence or WP estate are good ones

I'm a So Cal based RE Broker. I used GoDaddy shared hosting for my site (never page builder though) but there were considerable issues once I started putting more intensive plugins on it. Resource limitations and the like forced me off of their shared hosting to another providers virtual private servers. Couldn't be happier! GoDaddy is not a service provider I would recommend anymore for anything beyond a basic site. I would not recommend them for even that if you care about pagespeed metrics.
