Page 1 Using Keyword stuffing?

One of my Competitors website is on 1st page but all he is doing is continuously repeating keywords and i'm struggling to get till 2nd page , does keyword stuffing still works ? is he going to get banned?

If you build quality links for the same Keyword means you not get banned by google. So avoid the spammy links and build the quality links.

Yes, chances of getting banned are higher in this case, but there is no hard and fast rule that this will get the website banned. Moreover, it is not the only factor which is responsible for website ranking there are numerous such factors that affects ranking so as mentioned above things like quality links could do it for you.

if he uses pbns, than its not so easy to find his backlins, cos they are invisible for ahref and other tools. In some cases ahrefs and majestic do not even see some links from popular sites. So it is possible, not a keyweord stuffing issue
