Hid the FAQ category from the homepage, no menus linking to it, and one sneaky hidden link on the homepage visible to bots but not humans.

Probably CSS visibility hidden rule, or very small font size or, font color white, or a link with no anchor text at all?

Not really. Sloow burn.

Unrelated note, I had a PAA site I completely forgot about that I started end of last year. I dipped and bounced back recently to around 1,000 visitors a day. Nothing crazy, but it was a fresh domain and only had 10,000 or so articles.
