Owning a .au website

Anyone have any good tricks for being able to own and run an Australian .com.au TLD site without actually living there? I live in the states but there are several opportunities for me to pick up some nice sites at fairly low cost there, but you have to be there to be allowed to own them... If you know a way but obviously don't want it out for all to see just pm me.
