So i ordered first a small VPS from this shity company and they are taking ages to deliver it, Look like support staff is too busy to response.

May be the amount is too small?

Ovh ist all fully fully self managed and their service indeed sucks. However, products are pretty good, fast and obviously one of the cheapest. Unfortunately, you cannot have it all. Once you get the vps just auto renew so you won't have any issues.

Also, $3 one time per additional Ip and their different go locations are quite good.

If you order a server during standard business hours, it tends to be ready in an hour or so. If you order a server on Saturday or Sunday, don't count on it coming online before the following Wednesday.

I've seen this same behavior with just about every VPS/dedicated provider, OVH really isn't much of an outlier here.

oh god i didnt know that.

If this is a new account, they need to verify who you are so it can take a few days to process.

OVH is a reputed name in the hosting industry so I suggest you be patient. If you look through their reviews on other hosting forums you will notice that their validation process can take a bit longer.

Vultr, DigitalOcean, Hostwinds you get your VPS instantly. Usually, small companies don't have that automated, but company of this size don't have VPS setup automated, shame.

Their products are good but the technical support REALLY sucks ...

Go with Siteground !! The guy repaired a critical issue on a Sunday morning at 4am during the chat !! That's what I am calling a service !!

+1 for Siteground have an account with them and their support has been top notch!

OVH has been around for some time now. I have never used there service so I can't speak to how fast they should get a VPS set up. If its your first order it may have to be verified first and then released. But usually VPS servers are fast and easy to deploy unless it triggered a manual approval.

The setup is indeed automated, and after the first order everything is instant, it's the fraud checks that are not. And In my experience, all three of the providers you listed took 2-3 business days for the fraud check to complete.

On all of them I got my VPS instantly, without any delays, on hostwinds, I don't even have CC added.

Yeah the intial one on OVH took longer for me too.
Also, if you do auto-renew and autopay you will have less hassle. I forgot it initially, they suspend it and then if you have the VPS & Panel license to pay it sometimes messes it up. Do autopay and you are all set. Again, if you prefer best customer support that will hold your hand through how do I do X and Y, this is NOT for you.
However, if you want awesome prices, different Geo locations, $3 one time fee IPs (16 for VPS), and pretty reliable hardware then this could definitely be for you. Do your own DD and also ask yourself can I manage a VPS? If not, you can also buy plesk (actually cheaper than resellers even) or CPANEL to handle most stuff and still have great pricing

OVH support sucks but they got really fast VPS for sure.

Have used their services way before, they were good suggest contacting the support team, once setuped you'll love their machines!

Was paying something around $700/month for a server with them. Took a week to set it up. Eventually, I was the one who had to contact their support.

On the flip side I've had a response from their skeleton crew on December the 26th and beyond the setup time I've not had an issue with them.

The point of self managed VPS is just that (should be). Blazing performance with zero support.
If you know what you are doing. Self managed VPS is the way to go :)

Their verification process with me was a pain. They wanted everything and then more. After I got verified the server they delivered was crashing all the time, so I required customer support. That's when it fell apart, their service is apalling. So I gave up.

Hostwinds, Namecheap, Hoststage do it for me. If you can afford the price then Rackspace is hard to beat.

Definitely right. I am Vultr user, it is really fast to get a server on Vultr. Sign up, deploy the server and make a payment, which takes less than ten minutes.
